Came here for breakfast on Saturday. Split a bottle for mimosas, an entree and seasonal pancakes. Everything tasted good though I probably wouldn't order the filet moco again. Service was fast and efficient, she checked I on us several times. Ambiance was cozy and cute and surprisingly fit quite a few people. Looks smaller from outside than it is. We will be back as it will go on our brunch rotation.

I haven't been here in a quite sometime but was having brunch with friends and thought it would be a great choice given the location and expansive menu which has something for everyone. Unfortunately this location does not accept reservations but we were seated almost immediately in the bar area which was impressive given the hour of 11:30am in full brunch swing. I ordered a mimosa flight which was fun. I asked the server for his recommendations on the 3 most tart flavors and he delivered. All 3 were tasty and it was nice to try flavors I wouldn't normally think to choose. My 2 friends ordered mimosas, they came in huge fishbowl glasses. They were both very happy with their choices. I ordered a meat filled omelette which really hit the spot. It was a large omelette with a generous portion of fillings. My friends were both happy with their omelette and Benedict selections. This is a great restaurant for large parties as there really is something for everyone on their menus. I hope they open another location near Greenhaven/Land Park/Pocket. Our server was busy but attentive, very happy to offer suggestions. My only complaints are they need a better hot sauce selection like offering Tapatío or Cholula. Currently they only offer Tabasco which is my least favorite, too vinegary and not enough heat. I ordered my hash brown extra crispy and they came out like normal hashbrowns very lightly browned with a barely cooked inside. I'm not sure if the server forgot to ask for them crispy or if the kitchen just forgot. I ate some of them but decided I'd take them home and finish cooking them there with good hot sauce. All in all we had a nice brunch and will be back.

Recently visited in the early morning for breakfast. Only a few parties seated, so plenty of open seating available. I can see how this place can get super busy later in the day. Our orders were put in, and not too long coming out. We ordered the waffle and banana pancake combo. We enjoyed our meals that we each finished it! I felt like the banana pancakes were different, but delicious. I'd go back there again for that. Parking can be tricky, but there is street parking as well.

I was just here yesterday for a Galentine's Day brunch with my sisters. For starters, we got the the Oreo Toasties. The moment we got a bite out of them, we were in love. We also got Truffle Herb Fries and they were scrumptious. As for main dishes, I got the Roseville omelet, my younger sister got chocolate chip pancakes and my older sister got a Benedict. The service was amazing, couples were coming in to celebrate Valentine's Day, and I remember hearing wine bottles being opened to celebrate. The environment was smooth sailing too. Our waitress, Alexis, was super friendly and made sure our time here was excellent. Next time, for sure, I am coming back. 100%

The Mimosa House on J Street is my favorite spot for a weekday breakfast. Grab a seat at the bar if you can--the service is way better there, and you'll avoid the weekend madness. Yes, it's loud (always), but the food makes up for it. I can't quit the breakfast fried rice--seriously, it's that good. I switch between adding chicken or shrimp depending on my mood, while my friends swear by the biscuits and gravy (i've tried it too, and it's pretty good)! I've never had a bad meal here, though service can be hit-or-miss unless you're strategic about where you sit. The only real downside? Parking is a nightmare. But once you're inside with a plate of fried rice (ask for some flour tortillas on the side) in front of you, it's all worth it. Just stick to weekdays if you can--you'll thank me later!

Me and the girls LOVE Mimosa House!! It's the go-to brunch restaurant every time! We get their breakfast combos , strawberry, chocolate/banana and the classic French toasts. The music , decor and vibes from not only customers but staff were so refreshing and enjoyable. I think the hardest thing about going here is choosing which mimosas you want! There's so many different options!
